History

Bill Rice Christian Academy’ history as a Murfreesboro Christian school is quite unique. BRCA was established in 1993 as a ministry of the Bill Rice Ranch, a revival ministry that was founded in 1953. The Ranch began as a summer camping ministry to reach the Deaf, and has grown now to reach thousands of hearing and deaf young people from around the world every summer. BRCA began in a renovated staff house with just a handful of students, both from our staff and from Murfreesboro. For the first thirteen years, our enrollment stayed in the mid-twenties. God has grown our Christian school over the last several years to an enrollment of over one hundred, and that allowed us to add new buildings in 2017 and 2021! We are thankful for our history and look forward to what God will do in the future.
